Where do the fees go?
Hyperliquid's fees are not kept by the team. A portion routes to HLP; another portion goes to the Assistance Fund (0xfefe…fefe), which buys HYPE from the market and burns it. Higher trading volume therefore reduces HYPE supply. A portion is also shared with market builders.
The 4% discount only applies before your first trade
Wallets that have already traded can no longer receive the 4% discount.
